The Midnight Oil app

The app collects nothing about you. Its only network request, unless your organization uses Teams, is a daily update check to GitHub, which you can turn off in Settings › General.

The website uses Fathom Analytics, which doesn't use cookies. Fathom is loaded through TracerKit, a tag manager, which sets a first-party anonymous id (a cookie and local storage) and records whether each tag loaded, so we know analytics is working. Neither collects your name, email, or anything you type.

Midnight Oil for Teams

• Admins: your email address and organization name, to sign you in and send license keys and billing notices.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We never see your card number.
• Macs: only what your organization's profile turns on, listed on what a Mac sends. Session events are deleted after 30 days.

Service providers: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (billing), Resend (email). We don't sell data or share it with anyone else.

Your choices

Admins can remove Macs and cancel at any time. To delete your organization's data, open an issue or email the address on your receipt, and we'll delete it within 30 days.
